KIDtested: Kid Mambo

I’m a big fan of Mambo. Have been since I was a kid. Their clothes are cool, fun and they have worked over the years with some pretty amazing artists for their designs.  I was pretty excited to receive samples from their summer kids collection for Lily (almost but not quite 7) to KIDtest.

Tropics Boardie (RRP $19) with matching Rashie (RRP $22)

Mambo swimwear is made with Lycra Xtra Life material which means they are especially made to resist wear and tear from pool water. These are also UPF 50+ so you know you’re getting the best protection from the scorching summer sun.

The fit is relaxed and looks great. The print is bright and fun, which is what you would expect from Mambo, but it's cool enough that I would even wear the design (but I'm a big kid at heart).

I particularly like the drawstrings on the legs of the boardie which allows for room to grow and according to Lily, she loves the tassel effect when not tied.

Tropics Maxi Dress (RRP $25)

The material is really light and flowing. Perfect for hot summer days. Lily couldn’t take this one off. Even when it was getting late in the arvo and the sun was going down, she just donned a cardi and kept it on. Her comments..."I love this dress, I never want to take it off."

It's in the same design range as the the swim wear. It will be perfect for trips to the beach and pool, to just throw over her swimmers.
