Sydney Comedy Festival Children’s Program

Calling all Superkids aged 5-12 years old (and Supermums and Superdads too)! The Comedy for Kids! Superhero Gala brings together an action-packed line-up of super-powered fun!

Sydney Town Hall 483 George St, Sydney, NSW

Filled to the brim with hilarity and fun for all ages, the 14th annual Sydney Comedy Festival will present their 2018 children’s program at the Sydney Town Hall and Factory Theatre throughout April and May.

Kicking off the children’s program will be the best kids’ party ever, Kid/Dub, presented by the team behind the global-smash hit adult dance party, Hot Dub Time Machine. An audio-visual musical adventure, Kid/Dub will introduce kids to the most iconic songs from pop history from the Beatles to Beyoncé.

Flying into the Sydney Town Hall, the Comedy for Kids Superhero Gala will present a line-up of comedy heroes performing sketch, circus and stand-up - hosted by the biggest super kid of them all, Harley Breen (aka Captain Fun Pants). Superhero dress-up encouraged!

The hilarious kids’ comedian, Mr Snot Bottom, returns to the Festival with all the gross out topics to crack kids up: boogers, bottoms and smells. Expect tasteless tunes, repulsive rhythms, disgusting gags, with songs written by Benny Davis of The Axis of Awesome and Tom Bettany formerly of The Beards.

Award-winning comedian, Nikki Britton (ABC TV’s Stand and Deliver), will take to the stage as Grandma in the hilarious show Grandma is Not Growing Up. Busting out and breaking all the rules, Grandma will take the audience on a journey through imaginative worlds and try to finally answer the question, ‘what do I want to be when I grow up?’.
