Sydney Bus Museum

Experience a trip down memory lane with the children at the Sydney Bus Museum. Children can explore these old buses, sit in the drivers seat and take a double-decker ride into the CBD.

Sydney, NSW

The Sydney Bus Museum is open the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. Open hours are 10am until 4pm.

The 100+ year-old Leichhardt Tramshed houses an extensive collection of vintage buses. There is a World War II exhibition and you can even experience a ride aboard a vintage double-decker bus across the ANZAC Bridge to the CBD and return.

Vintage bus rides

Vintage double-decker bus rides depart regularly from the main Museum entrance for a 30-minute round trip to the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) and return. Visitors can join the buses at either the QVB or from the Museum.
