Life with kids in Sydney City
Glebe Markets is one of Sydney's most well known Saturday markets. Glebe is buzzing with market goers every Saturday.
The markets have everything from original design clothing, pre-loved attire, bric-a-brac, books and records, to arts and crafts, jewellery and hats.
It's a great place to find recycled fashion, CDs, books and other treasures. There are food stalls and usually outdoor entertainment including bands, jugglers or acrobats to enjoy. With around 200 stalls, there's lots to look at, so if you are heading with the family its best to get there before the lunchtime rush.
Nearest kid friendly cafe:
Brewrista's is amazing and just across from the markets on Glebe point Road
Bus: The 431 or 433 Bus from Central Station and 370, 436, 461 and the 483 buses from other areas stop near the markets.
Parking: There is 2hr street parking on Glebe Point Rd but it۪s difficult to find spaces at the weekend. The Broadway Shopping Centre Car Park has 2hr free parking - entrance to the carpark is on Bay Street, Francis St, and Grose St.
