KIDS FIRST AID COURSE

Date: Monday 15 April
Time: 10am-11am & 12pm-1pm 
Cost: $15

This workshop is designed to empower, inform and teach children on how to assist in and identify an emergency situation. The workshop is hands on, and each child will receive not only super hero first aid skills, but take-home material, certificates and tools to continue their learning. (ages 5+)


MAKE DUMPLINGS & SPRING ROLLS @ NU BAMBU

Date: Tuesday 16th April
Time: 4pm-5pm
Cost: $10

Make prawn dumplings, vegetable dumplings and vegetable spring rolls in this hands on workshop with the Nu Bambu team. Children will learn knife skills, the origins of the dumpling and spring roll, and get to take home their tasty treats. (ages 5+)


BEE WORKSHOP

Date: Wednesday 17 April
Time: 11am - 12.30pm 
Cost: $10

Join Maya Sunny Honey and Bee whisperer Andrew Wyszynski to learn about the importance of bees and what they do, the role beekeepers play and the equipment they use, and what we can do to help bees in the garden. Not only that, but the children will extract honey from frames and take home a jar each.  (ages 5+)


BAKE HOT CROSS BUNS

Sure, hot cross buns have been in the supermarkets since January, however, nothing beats a home made one. Whether you like yours the traditional way, or with some chocolate, or even fruitless, join us for this fun, interactive workshop leading into Easter. (ages 5+)


WORLD OF DRUMMING

Date: Tuesday 23 April
Time: 10.30am-12.30pm

The ‘World of Drumming’ workshop brings together various percussion instruments, styles and techniques that are played around the world. Participants nurture their creativity rhythmic abilities through group drumming. Join Jake as he leads your child through their musical journey. (age 5+)


MAKE ANZAC BISCUITS

Date: Wednesday 24 April
Time: 4pm-5pm 
Cost: $10

The original ANZAC biscuit, the ANZAC 'tile', was part of army rations given to ANZAC soldiers during WW1. Unlike ANZAC biscuits we make today, ANZAC 'tiles' were hard, a simple cracker made mainly from flour and water.   Whether your child likes their Anzac biscuit a bit chewy, or prefers it crunchy, we can guarantee they will have a blast. (ages 5+)


GAMES & CRAFT

Friday 26 April, 10am-3pm 

TICKETS $5

Let your kids get creative, make a mess and have fun at the same time. Old school air hockey, ping pong tables, mini basketball and craft will help keep them entertained. (ages 3+)
