This season experience Christmas with a magical animated Christmas window outside the Market Street store. Inspired by E.T.A Hoffmann’s classic tale, the Christmas windows celebrate the partnership between Disney and the new level 9 kids floor.
Each year the David Jones Staff Choir serenade morning shoppers with their angelic voices, Special Christmas Eve Performance 8am (for 30 minutes) each day until Christmas Eve (excluding Sundays).
When: Every day 9am (duration 30 minutes) from Monday 12th November to Monday 24th December (excluding Sundays)

The spectacular Lights of Christmas, an AGB Event presented by Paynter Dixon, will adorn St Mary’s Cathedral with Sydney’s favourite Christmas tradition.
This year’s Show will appeal to all ages and will be split into three segments. It will start off with a visual feast of decorative patterns, inspired by Christmas, like a multi coloured kaleidoscope projected across the Cathedral facade.
The second segment will feature a story written and narrated by actor/writer Simon Pryce. Currently performing as the Red Wiggle, Pryce’s story explores the powerful impact of giving rather than receiving.
The final segment of the show will be a traditional series of Madonna and Child artworks. This segment annually honours the essence of the Christmas story and the beauty of the relationship between mother and child.
The Lights of Christmas has also partnered with the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation to raise funds for one of Sydney’s oldest and most respected medical institutions, St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. The Lights of Christmas will work to raise money for the Hospital’s Heart and Lung Transplantation program, with opportunities for the public to support a fundraising initiative throughout the event.

Under the Dome of the iconic QVB, this captivating Christmas creation has been adorned with crystals which flown especially from Austria! The sparkling QVB Swarovski Christmas Tree stands at 24 metres over three floors. It’s incredible to think this tree fits inside the QVB, something that must be seen to be believed.

Get comfy and enjoy choirs performing under the tree each night under the Martin Place Christmas tree. There will be a dessert bar to treat yourself to a tempting range of gelato, sweets, cakes, coffee, cold beverages and savoury options.
DON'T MISS: On Saturday 24th November, the Martin Place Christmas Tree will light up at 8.30pm as fireworks illuminate Sydney’s spectacular skyline.

During December, the Observation Deck at the Sydney Tower Eye is transformed into Santa’s Highest Grotto – a Christmas wonderland 250 metres above street level!!

Don’t miss the 6 metre tall Christmas bauble which you can walk through, take pictures and the kids can even craft their own bauble. Not your typical Christmas decoration!

Known as Australia’s largest Christmas event, Carols in the Domain, take place adjacent to the Royal Botanic Gardens. Sponsor activities begin at noon with a carnival and activities, pre-show entertainment at 3pm and the Main Event commencing at 7.45pm.
When: 12pm to 12.30pm, Saturday 22 December
Where: The Domain, Art Gallery Rd, Sydney
Experience the magic of Christmas in one of Sydney's most iconic buildings, Sydney Town Hall, with the sounds of beautiful choirs and the Halls magnificent Grand Organ. Festive music, carol singing with a children’s choir and Navy Band, it will be a memorable night for the whole family.
When: 8pm to 9.30pm, Tuesday 18th December (duration approx. 90 minutes).
