Life with kids in Sydney City
Located in the East Village complex, this bar/restaurant is welcoming spot for families where kids eat FREE every weekday.
The Village Crow is run by The Darlin Group and is a great venue for a few drinks, a family dinner or a party.
Kids under 12 eat free 12-6pm, Monday to Friday.
One child meal per full priced main meal ordered.
The Village Crow has a cool interior with high ceilings, brick walls, hanging gardens, ;vertical gardens, leather and cow hide seats and metal tables. It’s quite spacious and has bigger tables for families and lots of highchairs. I love the comfy area at the back which is slightly separated from the main area and it's much easier to keep the little ones from wandering away.
There’s plenty of variety on the menu; pizzas, tapas, burgers, pasta dishes, meat dishes, salads and deserts. They have a Kids Menu (under 12’s) with 5 options (all $8). Lots of the normal alcohol options as well as Craft beers, great cocktails and jugs of Sangria.
We popped in for lunch and I had the tasty Pulled Pork Burger with spicy coleslaw and chips ($15.90) and hubby had the Chargrilled Cheeseburger and chips ($15.90). I sampled a craft larger which hit the spot! The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we've been back a few times!
They have meal specials every day so check out their website for more details.
