Life with kids in Sydney City
A tiny but perfectly formed cafe, The Purple Moose has been my morning pit stop since my wee man was about 4 months old and my only regret is not finding it sooner!
It's an awesome little hole in the wall and a their mascot, a large purple moose head hangs inside. The Coffee Alchemy blend is is so smooth! Tiny but ever changing, tasty menu. Toasted sandwiches and homemade gluten free brownies are great. Vibe is cool and the fittings are pretty neat. There are a few tiny tables inside and out the front on the pavement.
The coffee is my favourite ever! It’s local, only around the corner for me so I can still make it there and back with bub even if he’s at the stage where he’s just about to crack it. It’s also on route to my nearest park and enclosed playground - Beaconsfield Park and Playground. Vibe is cool and the fittings are pretty neat. There's a huge mirror and markers for messages. Kids will love the graffiti art that covers the laneway at the side of the cafe where there is cute seating and space for the kids to mess about. A few basketballs and a hoop make it a really fun visit. Check it out if you're in the neighbourhood!
