Life with kids in Sydney City
This is a great little retreat on busy King Street, especially if you have kids with you!
Sharing a doorway with Dendy cinemas is a perfect spot for refreshments before and after a kids movie or the ‘Reel Bub’s’ movies on a Thursday morning. The entire front of the restaurant opens onto Kings Street so great if you like people watching and large enough that you can get away from it all too. It has expensive ceilings and lots of small bulbs that look like they are floating in mid air and totally mesmerised my little one. It has a really friendly, casual vibe. The wait staff are very helpful and polite. They have lots of highchairs and although there is no change table the toilet it huge so at least you can bring your pram inside. They have colouring sheets for kids and they even have a monthly prize!
We arrived at lunch time and even though it was busy the wait staff were very attentive and our coffee and food came quickly. I am mad about quesadillas so of course I ordered the chicken quesadillas. My friends had the Quinoa Burger and the Cheeseburger and chips. I loved my quesadilla and devoured it quite quickly. My friend loved their meals too.
Their milkshakes are great and come in a traditional glass milk bottle and they have cool colourful straws. They have lots of gorgeous sweet treats too.
