Life with kids in Sydney City
A family friend pub in the Entertainment Quarter.
We stopped into PJ Gallager's on a break from The Baby and Toddler Show in the Hordern Pavilion.
I wasn’t very hungry but I had the wedges and they were lovely and a sneaky pear cider. They have standard meals - starters, salads, burgers and steak dishes as well some Irish dishes. I haven't tasted the food but my first thought was that it seemed pricey for what it was. They have a kids menu too.
Kids menu: $14 (under 12 years old) Includes a soft drink and a kids activity packCrumbled lamb cutlet with broccoli, beans and carrots.Chicken schnitzel burger and chipsBeer battered fish and chips
Kids ice-cream and topping - $5
We sat outside on the deck, which is mostly fenced so the little ones could move about. There were plenty of families having lunch.
They have function rooms and event spaces. Hire rates are based on a minimum spend system, so you may not incur any room hire fee. A Flat Room Hire Rate is also an option if min. spend is not going to be met. They can organise floral arrangements, P.A. systems, DJ’s, party themes and party decorations.
Check out the enclosed playgrounds and the EQ Village Markets when you here!
