I am so passionate about exposing kids to theatre and creative shows from an early age.  Sydney always has an excellent range each school holidays but the options for Spring have definitely blown us away!  We've chosen our 7 favourite kids shows to checkout with your little or not-so-little ones this holidays.  


The 52 Storey Treehouse


Mr Big Nose has mysteriously disappeared, and Jill has fallen into a deep sleep and Andy and Terry just can't wake her up. Can they solve the mysteries and survive the dangers that test even their ingenuity?

Carnival of the Animals


The Circa Carnival comes to town with whimsical tales of creatures of land and sea, who tumble, fly, leap and spin their way through the many wondrous worlds of the animal kingdom. The zebras juggle and flip, kangaroos skip and somersault, there’s elephants with street-cred, and even the dinosaur bones shake, clatter and roll to the music.

The Secret Life of Suitcases


Monkey Baa Theatre Company presents Ailie Cohen’s The Secret Life of Suitcases.  A funny and enchanting puppet show - join Larry as his world gets turned upside down by a fantastical flying suitcase taking him further than he ever thought possible. Follow Larry’s journey as he discovers the thrill of adventure and the joy of coming home again.

Lah-Lah Live in Concert


Sort those stripy socks and get set to sing and dance with ABC Kids TV sensation Lah-Lah, as she packs up her tour bus and gets set to jam all over the land with her Big Live Band at Marrickville Town Hall on 26th September!

Play School Live

For the littlies, come and turn the pages of the "Once Upon a Time" book. You can see your favourite nursery rhyme characters, listen to stories and sing and dance with your Play School friends.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar


We love this book and are super excited to see the show!  A marvellous menagerie of loveable puppets bring Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar to life on stage at The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre.
