Life with kids in Sydney City
Kitchen By Mike craft their menu each day based on the produce they source during the week. You can find a daily post of their menu on their Facebook Page. Expect the food to be always delicious, seasonal, fresh and honest.
Kitchen by Mike is located at design warehouse Koskela. The warehouse has been converted into a big, open café with a kitchen garden out the front and a beehive. there is plenty of space and plenty of tables. They serve buffet-style lunches and a different menu is posted on facebook daily. You can watch as they take the honey out of the beehive trays and straight onto your muesli, yum!
They sell a range of dips and jams and they have a tuckshop where you can order online from the lunch menu and pick up. The furniture and fittings are great, my little one couldn't take his eyes of the cool lights.
Koskela design store is located in the same space but probably wouldn’t advise checking it out unless you are fairly certain your kids won’t touch anything valuable.
We loved the quaint seating in the garden and looking at all the plants. The little garden is a lovely secluded sun trap and is enclosed so you can relax a little.
The toilets is large enough to fit a pram.
The entrance isn't obvious so you will have to keep a close eye out. You can park inside the gates if there's apace, otherwise there is free street parking. There is a ramp entrance inside the gates.
Turruwul Park Playground is a 5 minute walk away
